The rediscovery of a masterpiece: the Polyptych Griffoni

An extraordinary and world-wide event that for the first time brings together in Bologna 300 years after its dismemberment, the 16 original tables thanks to extraordinary loans from all the proprietary museums: National Gallery in London, Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan, Louvre in Paris , National Gallery of Art of Washington, Cagnola Collection of Gazzada (Va), Vatican Museums, National Picture Gallery of Ferrara, Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen of Rotterdam, Vittorio Cini Collection of Venice. The exhibition consists of two initiatives: one “The Griffoni reborn in Bologna ”focused on the altarpiece; the other "The Materiality of the Aura". New Technologies for Protection ", on the work of the Factum Foundation and the importance of new technologies in the protection and sharing of cultural heritage.
